Synchronize Salesforce with Outlook

CompanionLink will synchronize your Salesforce.com account with Outlook. And we'll do it securely using an HTTPS connection. This gives you the ability to work with your Salesforce.com data in Outlook. You can also synchronize your Outlook data to Salesforce.com, make edits, and sync back to Outlook.

CompanionLink installs on your PC and creates the connection between Salesforce.com and Outlook.

Salesforce.com Accounts and Contacts Sync

  • Contacts and Accounts can be created and synchronized in both directions
  • Edits made in Outlook and Salesforce can be synchronized
  • Salesforce Accounts begin with "Acct." in your Outlook Contact list

CompanionLink lets you decide which Salesforce.com Accounts and Contacts to sync:

For Contacts you can choose to sync:

  • My Contacts
  • Account Contacts
  • All Contacts

For Accounts you can choose to sync:

  • My Accounts
  • Team Accounts
  • All Accounts



Salesforce.com Opportunities Sync

  • Create Opportunities in either Outlook or Salesforce
  • Edits made in Outlook and Salesforce can be synchronized
  • Opportunities will appear in Outlook's task list

  • Task alarms will sound in Outlook and Salesforce
  • Create Tasks in either Outlook or Salesforce

  • Task will appear in Outlook's Task list
