CompanionLink offers four ways to sync Outlook with the Inspire 4G – wired USB sync, automatic wireless sync via Google®, local Wi-Fi sync, and a secure hosted wireless sync service. In addition to Outlook, CompanionLink supports sync with IBM® Lotus Notes, Sage ACT!, Palm® Desktop, Novell® GroupWise, Salesforce® CRM, and Highrise®. CompanionLink also synchronizes with Microsoft® Outlook® add-ins like Franklin Covey® PlanPlus™ for Microsoft Outlook, Getting Things Done®, Take Back Your Life, Respond™, Avidian Prophet®, and Outlook Business Contact Manager.
CompanionLink’s wired USB sync with HTC Inspire 4G works in tandem with DejaOffice™ – an Android™ app that runs on the Inspire 4G – to sync contacts, calendar, tasks and notes with a PC.
Sync via Google transfers PC data to any Google account, which then wirelessly syncs with the HTC Inspire 4G through its data connection.
Local Wi-Fi sync uses your Wi-Fi network to automatically sync data between PC and DejaOffice on the Inspire 4G. This hands-free sync is automatically triggered whenever your device is near your PC.
Sync via CompanionLink Secure Hosted wireless sync is a monthly service that uses AES-256 encryption to sync your data over-the-air between your PC and DejaOffice on the Inspire 4G. For maximum security, this service does not store your data in the cloud. Two-way sync is supported in all methods so that changes made on the phone are updated on the PC as well.
