CompanionLink and Android 4.x (Ice Cream Sandwich) Compatibility
CompanionLink 4.0, 5.0 and DejaOffice are Compatible with Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).
Galaxy Nexus
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) device. This device does not have an external SD card slot, which means that Mass Storage USB sync will not work with DejaOffice on this device. CompanionLink recommends syncing via Local Wi-Fi Sync , Secure Hosted Wireless Sync, Google or CompanionLink's new USB sync method, DejaConnect USB.
Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich and USB Mass Storage
Like the previous Android release, Honeycomb (Android 3.0), Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) does not support USB Mass Storage for the devices internal storage. This was previously supported in Android 1.0 - 2.3. Google says it still supports USB Mass Storage for Android 4.0, but only for devices external SD card slots (see more info below). Moving forward, CompanionLink recommends its new USB sync method, DejaConnect USB.
Future ICS Devices
Future ICS devices may have external SD cards, therefore CompanionLink USB sync should be possible on these devices. Current Gingerbread (Android 2.3) devices that will be upgraded to ICS, such as the Nexus S, will also work with CompanionLink's USB sync method. Only a select few devices available now will be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich. This is up to the carrier and manufacture. Moving forward, CompanionLink recommends its new USB sync method, DejaConnect USB.
