Goldmine: Invalid parameter

When using Goldmine 4.0, an error of "An error has occurred accessing the database files". Listed below are specifics which may help identify the cause of error "Invalid parameter. Context: Open."

Solution

1. Close CompanionLink Setup if it is open.
2. Download and install the latest version of the Borland Database Engine (BDE) from the following site: ftp://ftpc.borland.com
3. If this fails to resolve your issue, you will need to have the gm6S32.dll from Goldmine reinstalled.

NOTE: If you are not able to do step 2, do not do step 3.
