CompanionLink
- Open CompanionLink
- Go to Settings
- Go to Advanced in the bottom left
- Go to the General tab (on some sync methods this option may be in the General (more) tab
- Ensure "Run at Startup" is checked
Task Manager
- Open Task Manager (Search in Start Menu for it)
- Click "More Details" in the bottom right if the option is there
- Go to the Startup tab
- Ensure CompanionLink has an entry and the entry does not have a status of "Disabled"
- If the entry is disabled, right click the entry > Enable
- If there is no CompanionLink entry, ensure Run at Startup is enabled in the previous section, try unchecking and rechecking it as well
Adding the Shortcut to the Startup Folder Manually
- If there is no Task Manager entry and you've ensured Run at Startup is enabled in CompanionLink, you may need to manually add the shortcut to the Windows Startup folder
- Press WINDOWS + R, or search for Run in the Start Menu
- Type in "shell:Startup" (without the "") and press ENTER
- You will want to copy a shortcut to CompanionLink into this folder, such as the Desktop shortcut
