Invalid Device ID

If you receive an error in CompanionLink that says:

"Additional settings required for Android. You must specify the password DejaOffice displays on your device."

- or -

"Unable to connect with server Status code: 401 Internet Error: 0 Fail - Invalid Password"

This is actually referring to the Device Name in your WiFi settings. Open CompanionLink Setup, and go to Android Settings. You'll have a place to enter the Device Name and IP address here.

In DejaOffice, go to Settings/Sync Settings/WiFi Settings. You'll see the IP address and Device Name here. Please make sure both are entered exactly the same into CompanionLink. If you continue to get this error, try changing the device name here and in CompanionLink. Make sure there are no spaces, special characters or carriage returns (hitting the Enter key).
