Locate missing Blackberry Classic database

In order for CompanionLink to sync data to the Blackberry we need to make sure the "Address Book" and "Calendar" show up correctly on the Blackberry device.

To make sure Address Book and Calendar are correct on the Blackberry follow these steps.

For Blackberry Desktop Manager 6:

1. Open Blackberry Desktop Manager, connect your Blackberry to the PC. Wait for Desktop Manager to recognize the Blackberry.

2. Click the Device menu and choose Delete Data. Select the option for "Selected Data".

3. Here you will see a list of databases on the Blackberry. Confirm that Address Book and Calendar show up. Note: You may see other options such as Address Book - All or Calendar - All, this is fine but Address Book and Calendar still need to be available.


For Blackberry Desktop Manager 5:

1. Open Blackberry Desktop Manager, connect your Blackberry to the PC. Wait for Desktop Manager to recognize the Blackberry.

2. Click "Backup and Restore" and then "Advanced".

3. Here you will see a list of databases on the Blackberry. Confirm that Address Book and Calendar show up. Note: You may see other options such as Address Book - All or Calendar - All, this is fine but Address Book and Calendar still need to be available.
