Remove duplicates from Goldmine

Note: You must have master rights to delete records in GoldMine.

  1. Go to Lookup > Filters.
  2. Click the New button.
  3. Provide a name for the filter, then click the Build tab.
  4. Under the Field Name drop-down menu, choose 'Creaton'.
  5. Under the Operator drop-down menu, select 'Equal to'.
  6. In the Value field, enter the date on which the duplicates were created in the following format: mm/dd/yy
  7. Click the Insert Condition button, then click OK.
  8. Highlight your new filter in the Filters list, then click the Activate button.
  9. Go to Tools > Delete Records Wizard.
  10. Select 'Delete ALL (filtered) contact records)', and click Next.
  11. In the drop-down box, select the filter you've just created, and click Next.
  12. Check all boxes. Type the phrase in the box, and click Next.
  13. Uncheck Synchronize Deletions, and click Finish.
