Send a DejaOffice for iPhone-iPad Log

DejaOffice for iPhone-iPad Logging Instructions:

  1. Open DejaOffice, tap Settings, tap Log, and tap Logging to enable it.
  2. Run a sync. (Unless directed otherwise by the technician).
  3. When the sync completes, tap Settings, tap Log and select 'Email log to Support'.
  4. A new email template will appear. In the Subject line, enter the Ticket ID provided by the technician.


  • If the purpose of the log is to track missing Contacts, Calendar or Task items, please name the item that appears so that we can track it within the log. Giving us two-three examples will help us speed a response.

On the PC:

1. Open CompanionLink.
2. Press Ctrl-SHIFT-L. Press 'OK' on 'Logging Enabled.'


On the iPhone-iPad:

3. Open DejaOffice, tap Settings, tap Log, and tap Logging to enable it.
4. Return to the main menu of DejaOffice and Sync.


On the PC:

5. When the sync completes, Press Ctrl-SHIFT-D and in the folder that opens, find companionlinklog.log, right click on the file, select 'Send To...' and choose 'Compressed (Zipped) Folder.'
6. Reply to this email message and attach the companionlinklog.zip file.


On the iPhone-iPad:

7. Open DejaOffice, tap Settings, and Log and select 'Email log to Support'.
8. A new email template will appear. In the Subject line, enter the Ticket ID provided by the technician.
