Sync Outlook 2010 to Windows Mobile device
Below are some instructions on how to set up your sync between Outlook 2010 and Windows Mobile devices.
Here is a web page that gives general information about our sync with Outlook. There are four steps; Install CompanionLink on your PC, Configure Windows Mobile Device Center, Configure CompanionLink, and Synchronize!

Please make sure you back up all related databases. Setting up Windows Mobile Device Center
1. Connect the USB cable to the handheld and the PC.
2. Open Windows Mobile Device Center.
3. If you have the option to "Set up your device":
a. Click "Set up your device"
b. Uncheck all the options for items to sync with.
c. Click Next
d. Enter a name for your phone, and clear the check box if you don't want a shortcut for Windows Mobile Device Center on your desktop.
e. Click Set Up
4. If you have already set up your device:
a. Click Mobile Device Settings.
b. Click Change content sync settings.
c. Uncheck all the options for items to sync with.
5. Once Windows Mobile Device Center says 'Connected', disconnect the handheld.
NOTE: Always disconnect the handheld before opening CompanionLink Setup.
Setting up CompanionLink on your PC
1. Download and install CompanionLink Express or CompanionLink Professional.
2. To open the application on Windows Vista and WIndows 7, right click on the CompanionLink Setup icon and choose Run as Administrator. You might get prompted to allow or continue that action; please do.
3. Choose "Windows Mobile" from the sync target drop-down options.
4. Click on Pocket PC Settings and verify the correct Windows Mobile username appears in the dropdown.
5. Choose Outlook as your Contact Manager.
6. Click Outlook Settings
7. Verify the folders are correct on the Outlook Folders tab
8. Check out the settings in Category Filter and Applications.
9. If everything is correct, press Ok
10. Exit CompanionLink To Synchronize
1. Connect the USB cable to the handheld and the PC.
2. Open Windows Mobile Device Center and it will take it from there!
