Troubleshoot Google Sync for Google Contacts and Google Calendar
The following guide covers common issues in syncing data from a Google account onto an Android Phone, iPhone or iPad
This guide assumes that your data is already in the Gmail Contacts, Google Calendar and Google Tasks.

You can verify whether or not the data is in Google by logging in to Google Contacts and/or Google Calendar
Google Sync is a service supplied by Google. CompanionLink has no control over Google Sync. This guide is offered only as troubleshooting steps for Google Sync. If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact your phone manufacturer's support and/or Google Support.

Google Account sync for Android Devices
You will want to check to ensure the account is added on the phone and the account is syncing properly from the Google account
- Go to the Settings app on the phone
- Locate 'Accounts' or 'Passwords & Accounts' and tap it
- Locate the Google account in question and tap it
NOTE: You may need to hit 'Manage Accounts' first, if the account is not listed you will need to add the account using the 'Add Account' option
- Tap on 'Account Sync'
- Locate the 'Sync Now' button towards the bottom of the screen
NOTE: On some devices there is no 'Sync Now' button, instead toggle the Contacts/Calendar sliders on then back off
Google Account sync for iPhones and iPads
You will want to check to ensure the account is added on the phone and the account is syncing properly from the Google account
- Go to the Settings app on the phone
- Locate 'Contacts' and tap it (this will work for either contacts or calendar)
- Locate 'Accounts' and tap it
- Locate the Google account in question and tap it
NOTE: If the account is not listed you will need to add the account using the 'Add Account' option
- Flip the Contacts and/or Calendar slider off (choose keep if prompted) then back on
