Using Act! Cloud Essentials with CompanionLink

Act! Cloud Essentials Setup

  1. Open CompanionLink 6050 or higher
  2. Select Act! Essentials as the PIM and your target database
  3. Enter your Act! Cloud Essential API into the Act! Cloud Essential CompanionLink settings.

How to acquire your Act! Cloud Essentials API key

  1. Login to your Act! Cloud Essentials account in your browser.
  2. Go to the Profile section.
  3. Select Apps & Integrations
  4. Click Generate API Key
  5. Copy and paste key into your Act! Essential settings in CompanionLink.

Please note that Act! Cloud Essentials does Histories or Notes, so CompanionLink will not be able to sync this data.
